s a point of curiosity, is it possible that we unintentionally repeat a pattern because this pattern helped us to cope and survive painful experiences?

You are doing the best you can right now based on everything you have learned, lived and experienced to this point in your life. In this way, we all do what we can to survive, to cope with our stress, to reduce our anxiety and to escape our suffering. For example:

  1. obsessing, perfectionism and predicting the future
  2. worrying, hurrying, restlessness, busyness, focusing on being "productive" or being "efficient"
  3. overscheduling, difficulty relaxing and focusing on To Do lists
  4. avoiding, procrastinating, binge watching tv, losing time in social media scrolling, hiding, isolating and oversleeping
  5. feeling "stuck", trapped, overwhelmed, disengaged, disconnected, detached, shut down, numb and unmotivated
  6. feeling distracted, bored, difficulty maintaining focus or being present, and escaping into alcohol or drug use
  7. sacrificing your needs, putting the needs of others ahead of your own, "walking on eggshells" and "tip-toeing"
  8. over-apologizing, over-explaining, accepting blame and making yourself useful to others
  9. feeling lonely, feeling lost and feeling confused about your identity, purpose or future
  10. managing or controlling people, situations and emotions
  11. blaming, avoiding responsibility, trying to win and fighting to be "right" in relationships
  12. defensiveness, explosive anger, feeling short fused, irritability and passive aggressiveness

Together, we uncover the nature of our patterns, our reflexes to repeat them, and how to free ourselves from them. We co-create fresh new ways to move forward that feel right for you. I feel honoured and excited about the opportunity to support, cheerlead and witness your healing. My very sincere wish for you is that you experience inner peace, more joy and greater ease in your life.
